Nominate a senior for a NSW Seniors Local Achievement Award

Member for Murray Austin Evans is calling on residents in the Murray Electorate to nominate local seniors, who make a positive impact in the community, for a 2018 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Award.

Mr Evans said the awards are a wonderful way to showcase the talents and contributions of seniors living in the Murray Electorate, as part of the special 60th Anniversary celebrations of the popular NSW Seniors Festival.

“Our seniors make a real difference to local families, recreational groups, businesses and organisations, and we want to celebrate them,” Mr Evans said.

“I am sure everyone in the Murray Electorate knows an older person who deserves to be recognised, so I encourage you to nominate them and show them how much they are appreciated for all they do.”

Nominations for the 2018 NSW Seniors Festival Local Achievement Awards are now open until 9 March 2018.

For further details on how to nominate contact the Murray Electorate Office at Griffith on 02 6962 6644 or Deniliquin on 03 5881 7034.

The 2018 NSW Seniors Festival runs from Wednesday 4 to Sunday 15 April. For more information on the Seniors Festival visit in the coming weeks.
