Residents in Wentworth will have access to more than 1000 government services and transactions with today's opening of the new Wentworth Service NSW Centre.
Member for Murray Austin Evans MP said Service NSW has transformed the way people interact with government, offering a quick, efficient and innovative customer first approach.
“Customers at Wentworth can now access more than 1000 services and transactions from multiple agencies, including Roads and Maritime Services, NSW Fair Trading, Family and Community Services and many more,” Mr Evans said.
“Residents and businesses are able to access transactions from driver licence, registration and driver testing, to birth or marriage certificates, all under the one roof.
“Wentworth Service Centre is the fourth centre to be rolled out as part of the State Government’s $20 million expansion of the one-stop shop network in regional and rural areas,” Mr Evans said.
Service NSW CEO Damon Rees said Service NSW has removed the barriers for providing excellent customer service, with a dedicated team.
“The new team at Wentworth are friendly and professional, and ready to help customers when they walk in the door,” Mr Rees said.
“The Centre is staffed by a team of three customer service professionals, with a digital kiosk also available for customers to skip the queue and complete their transaction online.”
In addition to the Service NSW one-stop shop network, customers can also access services 24-hours, seven days per week via the website or mobile app.
The Wentworth Service Centre is now open 9am to 4pm weekdays at the previous motor registry site, Shop 9, 21 Sandwych Street, Wentworth.
